Zune?! What The Hell Is Zune???

I admit that I’ve been very focused on our Pütz project this summer. So much so that I haven’t had time to follow technology news to the degree that I normally might. I’m excited about this project because I know how great Pütz is going to be. Trust me, you’ve never seen anything like the new product line that the DuroSport company is putting together (and given our previous products that’s saying something).
So imagine my surprise when I received an e-mail from a friend with a link to something called the “Zune Insider Blog“. OK, so there’s another insider blog. I can handle that.
So, what is Zune?
Apparently it’s MICROSOFT’S NEW MUSIC PROJECT!!!!
It get’s worse. Take a look at the Zune logo.
Microsoft Zune Logo

Does it look at all familiar?
DuroSport Pütz Logo

To make matters worse, after looking at this so called Zune Insider Blog, it appears that Zune has more than a little in common with Pütz! And they announced this all just days after we announced Pütz!!
I’m not sure if this is a case of corporate espionage, or what, but I’m certainly going to make a call to Legal – pronto!

[...] Still, the biggest setback for the company was the failure to release the Pütz before year-end. DuroSport announced the product several days before Microsoft announced the Zune. They later claimed that the Zune was thinly veiled rip-off of the Pütz and accused Microsoft of corporate espionage. Since the Pütz still has not been released there’s no way to objectively compare the two products. At this point all we have to go on is a biased comparison of the two that a DuroSport insider offered last month. While DuroSport claims the Pütz will be superior to the Zune in several key ways, they also admit that they’ll be quite similar in other ways. For example, both products can be setup in a little under six hours. [...]
